Sister Elements Record Label Release!
In May 2009 SARAH SAYEED launched her own Independent Record Label, Sister Elements. Sister Elements is an ode to new music, focusing on soul, jazz and eclectic world beats and sounds, the label stands for quality and innovation in production and vocals.
SARAH SAYEED setup her own label for a number of reasons. Unprepared to wait for a label to sign her, and keen to release music directly to DJ's with the emphasis on keeping vinyl alive and 'keeping the grain in the sound of music production there' she took her own initiative and setup her own brand. Launched at Shepherd's Bar on Friday 1st May with guest artists Magnolius (Toronto), Floetic Lara (London) and UK's finest own, DJ Excalibah (Pyro Radio), the label released Black IS...and Contentment as it's first project on September 3rd 2009.
